Radiesse

Dermal filler treatment is a safe and long lasting way to replace lost volume, and restore youthful contours. At Aesthetic Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Center, we offer many types of fillers, so that we can tailor treatment to the needs of each patient. Radiesse is unique in the fact that it offers immediate visible improvement, and the results continue to develop over time. This product has a thick texture, and excellent resilience. It provides fantastic structure, like scaffolding, to lift and shape the face.

Look as young as you feel

Radiesse reduces the appearance of folds, wrinkles, and scars by enhancing facial structure and stimulating the production of natural collagen. It contains calcium microspheres suspended in a gel base. Because calcium is naturally found in the bones and other tissues in the body, it is highly biocompatible. In addition to providing an instant and noticeable lift, these microspheres serve as scaffolding for your natural collagen network.

Radiesse is a great option for treating facial wrinkles and folds including:

  • Nasolabial folds (also called parentheses/smile lines)
  • Marionette lines (also called puppet lines)
  • Pre-jowl area and jaw line corners of your mouth/chin area

The results may last between six months and two years, depending on the product and the patient. All of these fillers can be administered with topical anesthetic for a comfortable experience. The procedure can easily be performed during a lunch hour, and you can return to your normal life immediately afterwards. There may be mild bruising or swelling, but it is easily covered with cosmetics.

Radiesse is often used in conjunction with other fillers or anti-aging techniques to achieve the most beautiful, natural results. Dr. Debra A. Coats-Walton, a board-certified dermatologist, has the in-depth knowledge and experience needed to deliver amazing results, customized to your individual needs.
